A High Point Lakeside Spring Family Session

The weekend before last, I met up with this super fun family on a lake in a High Point neighborhood. It was the perfect location & the evening light was beautiful as it was just before sunset. Patti, on the far right in the purple sweater & black top is the sister who brought all of her family together that evening. Before their session, they all went out to dinner at a favorite restaurant in Greensboro. I met Patti last summer through mutual friends, but felt like I got to know her even better the evening we met up for these photos. Their sweet mother is in the brown sweater and is surrounded by her family in each of these photos. And I especially love the one of her with her three grandchildren. They're a big Irish family originally from New York, with many of them still residing there. We sure did have lots of laughs! And I think it's wonderful that Patti wanted to capture a moment in time by bringing her family altogether like this.  It's so special and important to make such memories!
