PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS AT PAUL J CIENER BOTANICAL GARDEN!
It's been a while since I've taught any photography workshops at Paul J Ciener Botanical Garden in Kernersville, NC and I'm looking forward to returning this month (August) and also in September!
Several folks have recently reached out to me about the possibility of taking a "Fundamentals of Digital Photography" workshop with me. Well, you are in luck! This is for the DLSR or Mirrorless Camera photographer and best suited for the beginner to intermediate photographer. This will be a 2-part, 2-evening workshop. Both on Tuesdays, August 19th and August 26th from 5:30-8:30pm. $139/$129 PJCBG members. Register HERE. Don't wait too long to register, limited space!
Then, the always popular "Creative Smartphone Photography" workshop, which is set for Tuesday, September 23rd from 8:30am-11:30am. This workshop is best suited for the iPhone photographer, however if you have a Android or Pixel Smartphone, you are welcome to take the workshop too. Just know there are slight variances in all Smartphone cameras. All Levels Welcome! $40/$35 PJCBG members. Register HERE. This workshop is always popular and typically fills up quickly! Creative Smartphone Photography at The 3rd Space - Monterey, Virginia - July 19, 2025
It was great to return to Highland County, Virginia to teach another photography workshop on July 19th. I taught Creative Smartphone Photography at The 3rd Space located at 132 West Main Street, Monterey, VA. My four students created some beautiful photography and they learned so much. Travel Photography Workshop at John C. Campbell Folk School - June 28-July 3, 2026
On June 8th-14th, 2025, I returned to the John C. Campbell Folk School, to teach Wanderlust: The Art of Travel Photography and what a fantastic week it was!
