An Engagement Session with a Sweet Surprise at Pilot Mountain State Park!

Andrew and Crystal are getting married this weekend & I'm really looking forward to working with this awesome couple again! Not only have we been planning their wedding since last fall, we also met up about a month ago for their engagement session. They chose Pilot Mountain State Park, as it's close to Crystal's hometown and it's always been a favorite place of hers and now his too!

What a gorgeous balmy evening we had, with unusually mild weather for early March. We went to two locations within the park for their photos. We started off at the trailhead to The Knob. The second location was my favorite! It was a less traveled area of the park and I just loved the trees on this trail.  We had such beautiful light, especially as the sun started to set. These two are fun and were up to anything!

Andrew and Crystal shared more exciting news with me - they're expecting a baby girl later this summer! I'm so excited for them between their upcoming wedding and soon becoming parents. Congrats Andrew and Crystal on so many milestones in your lives!
