Now that spring weddings are in full force, lets not forget about this sweet, intimate wintertime wedding I photographed earlier this year - it was my first of 2019! Aaron & Arnetta's early afternoon celebration took place at the gorgeous, historic Burke Manor Inn. Their ceremony was held in the bright and cheerful back parlor, with it being chilly and wet outdoors. They'd originally hoped to have their ceremony outside on the veranda or in the garden, which is beautiful anytime of year with all of the evergreens throughout. Arnetta's brother walked her down the aisle and gave her away. Their reception luncheon was immediately following in the two dining rooms downstairs with about 45 close family & friends in attendance to celebrate with them.
It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating such a lovely couple. Aaron and Arnetta truly love one another and only after several hours with them that day, I could clearly see it. I especially thought how he looked at her is so incredibly sweet and endearing. The cake cutting and the toasts were the best! He said that he never knew what love was prior & that he thought he'd never find it, until the day he met Arnetta. Everyone was rubbing their eyes, because they were wet! What a wonderful day it was and what a great way to celebrate it in a beautiful location, fabulous luncheon, and with people whom they were closest to.
And I always want to give a mention to Innkeepers Lori & Chef Lil, whom were amazing to work with as they always are! Chef Lil and his team created an amazing meal and Lori was fabulous with coordination and keeping things running smoothly. No matter how big or small a wedding, they can handle any size! In addition to offering services for larger weddings & events, they also offer options to couples looking for more intimate wedding or elopement options. In addition, I've heard the inn is a wonderful place to stay too! Make it a long weekend and part of your honeymoon too - oh so romantic!
