A Spring Garden Wedding at Chateau Vie

These super cold days we've been having here lately, sure have me dreaming about spring! Spring has always been a popular time of year for weddings. Thaddeous and Anna chose an April date for their wedding last year. We will be coming up on their first anniversary in just a few short months. They had a beautiful garden ceremony at Chateau Vie located in Walnut Cove, NC. 

Since I was the solo photographer at this wedding, I arrived several hours before the ceremony. First photographing details and then Anna and her bridesmaids getting ready. Then I made my way back up to the front of the house for photos of Thaddeous and his groomsmen, along with some family photos. After that, I was back down at the bridal cottage for some final getting ready photos and lastly for some super fun photos of Anna and her bridesmaids in their robes in the garden, before Anna got her dress on.

Anna looked amazing in her dress and Thaddeous's reaction to her, as she came down the aisle, was just so sweet. These two adore one another and it shows. They've known each other since they were in high school and after eight years together, they got engaged in December 2021. And then a little over a year later, they were married!

They couldn't of asked for a more gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony and reception. This venue has so many beautiful locations for photographs as well. The covered reception pavilion has a fireplace for those chillier evenings and an outdoor fire pit as well for roasting s'mores. 

After an evening of celebrating and dancing, Thaddeous and Anna did a sparkler exit surrounded by their families and friends. What a joyous occasion their day was & I sure enjoyed being a part of it!
