Springtime on the Farm & A Baby On the Way!

Mary Helen and Sam are expecting their first child and a little girl at the end of May! I love the name they have chosen for their baby girl, Carter Grace. I've always loved both of those names and them together is just perfect. I can't wait to meet her! Last fall, I remember hearing Mary Helen and Sam's exciting news & here it is spring already. With it being just about 6 weeks away before their baby arrives, it was time to schedule a session with these two. We got together last weekend on a mutual friend's farm for a couple's maternity session. We really lucked out with beautiful weather last weekend too, although it was a little chilly and windy (the wind lately has been crazy!). Both Mary Helen and Sam were troopers and up for anything. And I never really knew how funny Sam is - and adventurous! He had Mary Helen climbing up on tractors with him & hiking through fields of tall wheat grass - she was wearing sandals! We had such a good time and I enjoyed getting to know these two better as a couple. They are going to make such wonderful parents. I'm so thrilled for them!
