Family Session at Haw River State Park

With Mother's Day just around the corner, I thought I'd feature this sweet family of four on the blog. Last summer, I got together with the Snyder family at Haw River State Park, which is one of my favorite places and so close to home. 

We had a nice morning for it, before the day got too hot. There's a beautiful pond, several hiking trails, and the boardwalk leading to the headwaters of the Haw River, which all made for some nice backdrops and scenery.

 When working with a family, I photograph them all together, but also some of the children alone, parents with one another, and each parent with the children. I love that their two teen sons were all in and up for the adventure too.

Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 14th, which is just over three weeks away. As of now, I have that date available for anyone getting together - it can be two people on up to a much larger group. Or you may purchase a gift card for a future session, as this family did. Every family should do this and preserve such memories!
